Anyone who knows me well knows that I’m a minimalist. I’m not really into owning a lot of gadgets. But when I find a product that delivers in a big way, I will get it and tell others about it. This product is one such example.

Hyperice, a medical device company, makes a massage gun called the Hypervolt. Massage guns are used to help the body recover from workouts. This thing is nothing short of a miracle. A few minutes of therapy with this little gem, and the sorest of muscles start to relax. There are multiple attachments that are compatible with this device, some of which come standard, and some which have to be purchased separately, allowing one to use the tool safely on various areas of the body. And, of course, they offer different sized models, depending on your need. I opted for the “Go 2” model, since it is compact and lighter in weight.

I first learned about the Hypervolt from a fitness trainer. Since then, I’ve seen them used in many places – gyms, physical therapy centers, chiropractic offices, etc. However, because I am pretty active, I decided it would be a good idea to have one of my own for home use. They’re not cheap, but I have found it to be an invaluable tool to have on hand. It has helped me recover quickly if I exert myself more than usual. Having one handy certainly beats trying to get to the chiropractor in a pinch.
