As I thought about the best way to kick off my posts for 2024, I began to think about how people often like to turn over a new leaf at the start of a new year. One great way to start off the new year is to get a fresh new haircut (and color, if you choose).

At The Beauty District, owner/stylist Brynn Brick and her talented staff do an incredible job making everyone who walks in the door look and feel their very best. Conveniently located in the Shoppes at Vanderbilt – the northwest corner of Vanderbilt Beach Road and Airport Pulling Road – this salon offers hair services (color, design, and treatments), facials, waxing, and a couple other esthetician services. From the moment you enter to the minute you leave, you will find yourself in a warm, welcoming environment, where you will be treated with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. They offer their clients hot or cold beverages as a refreshment, and have an assortment of products to purchase when you’re finished.

As far as choosing a hairstyle or color goes, it is my opinion that everyone should feel free to choose what suits them best, taking into consideration their aesthetic, personality and lifestyle. Since we all have different features and have varying natural textures and colors to our hair, I would recommend asking for assistance from your stylist in choosing what would best suit you. I’m no fan of following trends as they only really “work” for certain people. Instead, I believe in embracing our own uniqueness and putting our personal best foot forward. The staff at The Beauty District are experts and will help you do just that.
